No. 6 developments is retained by Marshall Group Properties (Marshall) to provide client-side planning and project management support for the Cambridge East project.

 

The development will represent a major expansion to the country’s fastest growing and most progressive economy. It will bring together world leading commercial and research activities, quality mixed tenure new homes, and community amenities, creating a vibrant mixed-use centre complementing the city’s rich historic core - a new urban quarter for the city.

 

We work as an integrated part of the Marshall client team, co-ordinating an extensive project team including a number of industry leading advisers and designers, guiding internal governance and decision making, engaging with key stakeholders on Marshall’s behalf, and curating the vision for the project.

 

The site is proposed for allocation in the emerging Greater Cambridge Local Plan and work continues to provide compelling evidence of the site’s potential and deliverability, ensuring the transformative benefits to the Cambridge sub-region are realised in the near future.

 

Separately, No. 6 Developments continues to provide support to Marshall on the relocation of the Marshall Aerospace business from the site, including coordination and submission of a planning application at Cranfield Airport.
